Today, I have mostly been painting scratch-built pig-sties:
Pigs and loose fencing are from the wonderful 1:87 In the country set by Preiser (16354). The pig-pens are scratch built from these crazy period plans held by the University of Dakota:
They pretty much match drawings and photographs of European small-holder pig-sties from the turn of the 19th century onwards.
Did I mention Europe? I’m sorry…so very sorry…sob.
