4 affordable things to do whilst you wait for Halo Ground Command to arrive

1: Buy some metal medium (£2.30): you’re going to need it to paint-up those crazy Covenant Ghosts:

Vallejo Metal Medium

2: Get your hands on some ludicrously loud aquarium plants (£2.85): you never know when you’ll have to go all alien on your flora:

My eyes!

3: Howl like a Banshee (£7.00): hoover up a 1:100  Halo Ops Banshee and scare the cojones off your UNSC opponent:

MacFarlane Halo Ops 1:100 Banshee

4: Swoop like a Falcon (variable and hard-ish to find): deprive your UNSC opponent of a similar sense of satisfaction by buying up the remaining 1:100 Halo Ops Falcons:

MacFarlane Halo Ops 1:100 Falcon

  • Use Mega Bloks Halo as a suitable alternative – pre painted and fully posable. And probably cheaper than the Spartan models! (check out their pelican). Now if they’d have done 15mm Star Wars… 😉

  • Very tempted… But no new painting projects allowed!

Just managed to get hold of 2 copies, boom! They’re like Hen’s teeth…

  • Search McFarlane halo micro on Amazon. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. I can also remember Toys’r’us in Ipswich selling some off cheap a few months back now I think of it. Enjoy the new shinies 🙂
