Having finished my 15mm parachute infantry LMG platoon for Flames of War over the rainy Bank Holiday weekend, I thought I’d pull together a quick tutorial on how to enhance your bases with spent shelling casings.
Hope it’s useful:

Thanks Braxen, much appreciated. I use a Panasonic HDC-SD60 AVCHD camcorder mounted on a Manfrotto 709B digi tripod. Video software is plain old Windows Moview Maker Live. Coupled with 2 desklights it does the job.
Yep, you aren’t the only one, i used scissors instead of snips, they slighly sped up my cutting time.
Spent casings are definately worth the slight loss of sanity.
A perfect and usefule video, thanks !
Nice video!
What’s your camera set-up?

Thanks for the tutorial, having just started working in this scale I have found a lot of useful information. Thanks again.
Nice tutorial.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers
Another great video. I have used this technique myself and its very effective, although the cutting up of the wire takes forever and drives me insane…
