0French real estate has caught my eye in the search for a suitable urban environment. Has anyone bought anything from Decors, a French provider of wargames scenery? Whilst expensive, read very expensive, the quality of pieces looks fantastic. Ordering isn’t straight forward and postage could be a problem for the cash strapped UK consumer. A salutory email elicits the following information:
Hello JUSTIN,
That’s very simple. You give me the scenery reference you want and how many per reference.
I send you a proposition with postage price.
You have to know that shipping price is 16.05 E up to 1 Kg pocket ; 17.65 up 2 ; 21.3 up 3. Over 120 Euros order I pay for the shipping price up to the French border about 6 to 9 Euros.
The odyssey continues, perhaps I’ll find sumfink closer to ‘ome.

After initially buying the farm houses, I decided the models were so good that I’ve actually ended up buying most of the range. I now have all of the village buildings, the big church and a large country manor house.
It took about a week to arrive after I transferred funds through Paypal (nice and convenient!). Everything arrived in perfect order as was packaged really well.
All have been painted apart from the manor house which I’m just about to start. Let me know a good email address to send photos to and I’ll send you some to post up on the site.
